2022.01.19 07:02 Usethunderbolt Is this nasus best season so far? When it comes to how strong he is?
I have started playing nasus again. And fuck me he feels strong. I have won lvl 4 fights vs champions like diana, wukong, CAMILE, MUNDO and so on.
He feels better then ever almost op he must be a S++ pick.
Problem is he works both mid and top now. And honestly do you see a incoming nerf for him? Maybe nerfing his life steal? Which i pray dont happen btw. I love self sustain champions that can stay in lane

2022.01.19 07:02 kwibu Anyone selling tickets for the Amsterdam shows?
I don't have social media so I completely missed that she was touring and I'm really sad about it.
Is anyone selling tickets/a ticket for either of the shows? I'm willing to pay a decent price but nothing outrageous.
Please hmu if you know of any tickets being sold (:

South Africa has had a number of popular TV shows. We have some real talent.
Language and cultural differences aside, do you think "Orkney Snork Nie" was one of the funniest shows on TV in it's day?

2022.01.19 07:02 BayShen As an ardent Dotaverse nerd, I personally think Book 1 was better for the general fantasy fan, but Book 2 has much more service for the lore/game enjoyers
The way how each of the heroes got further expanded upon through more intimately told interactions (Auroth being a dragon nerd with a thin but sparable grasp of the human ways, CM being the cooler counterpart of the fiery Lina, the way her title is introduced) was the icing on the cake for me that kept it interesting.
Then you have the myriad of Oglodis just here and there, a Keen getting the spotlight for once, Pangolier getting to show off his stuff, and the Marci + Sagan scenes were cast in a much more wholesome light well, most of it.
I think the reason why many viewers didn't like it was because of the character deaths, and the rushed pacing. I can totally understand the pacing part; things go from political intrigue to post-god warfare real fucking quick. The motivations were quickly decided upon, with really not enough deliberation for the more major character development points.
But as someone who's always kept the head canon of the war of the ancients being something that can be reset over and over again, it makes total sense. There's a reason why each game of Dota is 5v5. And the lead up to that point is a story on its own. Dragon's Blood is just another retelling of what happens to the eventual point where five heroes are left to fight against another five. The reason why the hundreds of the other cast is not chosen isn't because they're not worthy; they just couldn't be there.
If they DO end up this route in the end, I'm personally excited for how many more ways the story can be told, and through so many more mediums. Could be a simple RPG, could be a Visual Novel, or maybe even a musical, I don't fucking know. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the fanservice shown to the general open world of Dota and the cast of oddballs that inhabit the world, despite the story's subpar movement in establishing the protagonists and villains.
I'd rate Book 1 a 7/10, and Book 2 an 8/10 from my perspective.

2022.01.19 07:02 giantimaginarycat Grumpiness from the lowered dose?
I'm in the middle of withdrawing (reducing dose with a powdered energy drink) having nearly made it before Christmas and then failed due to a new job. I'm finding a problem that I also found before Christmas where once I get to a lower dose, which I take in the morning, I then find that dose makes me super angry for a few hours after taking it before I settle down to 'normal', and later tired. There is a strong temptation to reduce quicker just to 'be over it' but that's always caused me to fail in the past!
TL:DR - I'm in a double-bind where I feel crap because I've reduced my dose, but that reduced dose is also making me feel a massive spike.
Has anyone else found this and have any tips for reducing the grumpiness?

2022.01.19 07:02 BabyBellyBean I quit McDonalds three years ago after three years fulltime and sometimes I miss it.
Don't get me wrong. I had the worst mangement, the customers were 9/10 times the worst, we were always understaffed (So I usually had to take care of the entire drive thru as well as the register), it was always chaos and I remember truly hating everything about it at the end. But looking back I'm so glad I did it. It was chaos in such a unique way, I have so many crazy experiences, memories and stories. At times it felt like I lived there together with the other coworkers who also worked full time and we just goofed around when we could.
I'll never forget the morning shifts, drinking coffee while hurrying to get everything done before opening. I'll never forget the closing shifts, always absolute mayhem, but how good it always felt to mop the floors covered in oil, sweat and salt, feeling so happy to soon get home.
I was 19 when I moved from home to the "big city" and McDonalds were the only one who offered me a job so I could stay there. I had three exciting years and working at McDonalds truly made them special. I know I'm probably romanticising a lot since I have so much awful memories as well, but in the end I wouldn't take it back for anything in the world.
